This quotation comes from the book From Barbie to Mortal Kombat. It is quite the old source, and it probably isn’t the most well-written one either. Still, this quotation stood out to me. It was taken from a very old Salon Magazine article (which I can no longer find) in which a man working in an American game company was asked as to why women weren’t taken into consideration when video games were made. Despite the fact that this quotation is very old and doesn’t hold any importance in the gaming world today, I just thought I’d bring to your attention the sheer ignorance of a statement like this. Thank goodness times are improving!
